Gray Monk was one of the first B.C. wineries I visited as a wine tourist in 1999. It remains a consistent and reliable source for well made, well priced wines. Apparently others think so too because their Pinot Gris is the best selling Gris in B.C. What’s not to like? A fresh, easy drinking white with aromas and flavours of peach and apple orchards. There’s really nice depth to the wine and a lovely finish. It’s a classic example of what B.C. wines offer and Gray Monk has been a go-to choice for me since the first taste. Pick up some suishi on your way home from work and Gray Monk will take care of the rest.
