This has been a reliable wine friend for many years and Nichol never disappoints. I still remember thinking that someone mislabeled this wine because the salmon pink colour had me fooled. It must be a Rose said I. My first taste told the true tale. This is a quintessential B.C. Pinot Gris. Beautiful aroma of apricots and peaches. There’s lots of citrus to taste in this beautifully balanced, fresh white with lively acidity. A great patio sipper but Nichol really shows off its Pinot Gris pedigree when you pair it with seafood. I loved this wine with cedar plank salmon. Or prawns, or scallops or anything with fins.
