When Italy was chosen as the featured country at this year’s Vancouver International Wine Festival it meant more Italian wines showing up on store shelves. Some I’ve reviewed aren’t just delicious…they’re also great buys. This white from Sardinia is a case in point. It’s the right wine with your favourite Greek dish, seafood or to sip on your deck or patio. The taste is fresh and complex given the price. There’s flavours of peaches and pears with a touch of lemon and vanilla. Don’t over chill this wine or you’ll miss out on the complexity.
